We are the Michigan Egg Connection. A small, family owned business, established in 2005. My name is Melissa Hibberd. I grew up watching my mom, Sharon Beckley, decorate eggs and doing many other arts and crafts. As a young girl, I started going with her to the Michigan Egg Art Show. We have been closely associated with the Michigan show, as it was sponsored by the Michigan Egg Art Guild of which Sharon has been President for many years. It was only natural that I became a member and started decorating eggs myself.

| As a member of the Michigan Egg Art Guild, I saw a need for a local egg art supplier and it just seemed like a natural fit for me. We slowly worked our way into a business as a way of supplying our members with some of the products needed and making them available at meetings. A website soon grew from that. We do not carry a complete line of egging supplies, but our inventory is always growing.

| We have expanded beyond egging, as we have a diverse family of talented artists. Sharon seems torn between decorating eggs and decorating gourds. This is only natural since many of the same supplies are used in both mediums. The gourds she uses are her own home grown and dried gourds.

| You will see an ever expanding array of hand crafted items on our site. I am very proud of my talented family and I am excited about having new, quality products to offer.

| We are also excited about our line of custom made products such as, photo eggs, personalized 1st Christmas ornaments, Memorial eggs and custom wedding and shower gifts.
